Welcome Friend, I am Emily Fortune
My happy place is chasing three little ones (my own), hiking, biking, crafting, exploring, and photographing families in their various stages of life.
My camera has become an extension of me. I believe photography is an art as well as a means of documentation and that the two can meet in the middle to weave a unique story. Family photography feeds my creative soul, and I feel lucky every day that I get to meet so many amazing families along the way.

As a mom of two little ones, I am always wishing I could freeze time. Life gets busy and hectic, and suddenly we blink and our snuggly babies are too big to pick up anymore. Photography has been my lifesaver. It has allowed me to capture all those little moments that I want to remember and hold so close to my heart. These pictures are my love letter to my kids, to my family, and to myself.
Being able to get a great posed picture of the whole family is wonderful, but what really excites me is the in-between moments. The tickles, the hair twirls, the wrinkly baby toes. This is what makes your story. I adore maternity and newborn photography, but I also love to photograph families of all sizes. Couples, single moms, high school seniors - every family is unique, and your photo session will be too. Whether you want to adventure up a mountain, hang out in your back yard, or even snuggle in bed, I can be there to document these special moments.
